See today's offersSpeedboats run from Sihanoukville to both islands, often in under an hour, and some boats link the two. Sihanoukville is reached by road from Phnom Penh or by air.
The dry season, roughly November to April, brings calmer seas. US dollars are widely used alongside Cambodian riel, but cash machines on the islands are few, so bring enough cash for your stay.
Koh Rong is livelier, especially around Koh Toch. Koh Rong Sanloem is quieter and good for calm swimming at Saracen Bay.
By speedboat from Sihanoukville.
