Location
Komtar, 1st Avenue and Penang Times Square are about five minutes' drive, and the heritage area is a short ride beyond. The hotel's position on the south side of the city also makes it handy for the airport, around 20 minutes away, and for the Penang Bridge to the mainland.
In the heritage zone you'll find the city's famous street art, clan houses such as Khoo Kongsi, the stilt villages of the Clan Jetties and some of Asia's best street food, from char kway teow to assam laksa. Penang Hill, reached by funicular railway, is about a quarter of an hour's drive and is cooler at the top.
