Sea Lion by the Beach is a small, peaceful guesthouse on Jalan Wee Hein Tze in Tanjung Bungah, on Penang's north coast between Gurney Drive and Batu Ferringhi. There are views over the sea and the city, a private garden, a large sun terrace and a comfortable shared lounge.

Location
The Tanjung Bungah seafront viewing spot is less than 300 metres away, and the area has a long waterfront with cafés and local eateries.
Gurney Drive, with its famous hawker centre, Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon malls, is around 10 to 15 minutes by car, and the heritage zone of George Town a little further. Going the other way, Batu Ferringhi's beach and night market are about 10 minutes along the coast road, and Penang National Park at Teluk Bahang, with its jungle trails and quiet beaches, is beyond that.
