My Khe is one of Vietnam's best city beaches: a long, wide stretch of sand with lifeguards, beach clubs and seafood restaurants where you pick your dinner from tanks. The Son Tra peninsula, with the giant Lady Buddha at Linh Ung Pagoda, is a short ride north-east, and Hoi An about 45 minutes south.
