Overview

Dolce Amore pairs a small resort with an Italian restaurant, on the coastal ring road in San Juan on Siquijor's west coast. The rooms sit in landscaped gardens around an outdoor pool with loungers and parasols, and there's a big sun terrace for lazy afternoons. Having pasta and pizza a minute's walk from your room is a real plus on an island where most evening meals mean a tricycle ride.

Location

Paliton Beach, one of Siquijor's prettiest strips of white sand, is about 1.3 kilometres away, roughly a 15-minute walk. Its leaning palms make it a favourite spot for watching the sun drop into the sea.

The Maite and Tubod marine sanctuaries, both protected reefs for snorkelling, are a short drive along the coast, and San Juan's cafés and dive shops are close by. For the island's inland sights, Cambugahay Falls and the old church at Lazi are within an hour by scooter.
